The Narvesen archive was given to the National Archives as a gift in the fall of 2009. It is a comprehensive archive that tells about the company's as well as society's development from 1894 until the end of the 1990's. Among other things, there are correspondance from various publishing houses, international and Norwegian newspapers, famous people, NSB, etc. Further there are kiosk drawings, self-produced printed material, press clippings and a comprehensive photo archive. The oldest photographs are related to the publishing activitiy with more than 2000 postcards, approximately 800 originals for the postcards, as well as over 300 photographs that were used in "Norgesheftene" at the beginning of the 1900's.
