Three types of searches

In the new Digital Archives there are three different types of searches. 

Simple search

The simple search allows you to search for individuals or properties in all available sources. The search engine looks for your keywords in the the most important fields. Those individuals or properties registered with the most of your keywords will appear at the top of your hit list. Read article

Advanced search

An advanced search for individuals or properties in all available sources. The advanced search includes a search form where only the most important search fields are included. These fields are common for most of the sources. Read article

Source specific search

The search form for the source specific search only includes fields adjusted to each source, and the search if performed only in the chosen source. Read about Select source (Finn kilde) and how to find sources and search these.
